Part Three: Lesson 7 (K-4): You've got to have friends!
Objective: To help students think about the concept of friendship and develop their own definitions.
Procedure:
Tell students to look at page 18 of In My Heart, I am a Dancer and write down all the words or phrases that represent friendship to them. Are there other words they can think of that they might like to use to describe what a friend is? Students can then make a collage of their friendship words.
